Thank you very much for your thoughts, love to hear peoples oppinion/what they think could be done better.
To be frankly honest, DAZ Studio is made for the amateur market and not suitable to make any convincing quality renders.
If you have the time, take a look at Maxon's Cinema4D and give the free tryout version a go. As far as I can remember (notice; I don't use Poser myself) there must be a 'Poser-to-C4D' plugin available that make it possible to get Poser characters and textures into C4D made easely.
Also; C4D is a professional application with a powerfull (advanced) render engine that will render this kind of illustrations within approx. 2 hours on 72 PPI (perhaps 4-6 hours for a heavy 300 PPI version), so your computer will not be 'on hold' that long... 41 hours is much to long
But when seeing it's price, I am sure this is a piece of software I can't buy in the next time
C4D has a very easy learning curve; don't give up but give it a serious try - you get used to it!
I know the price can be some of a problem if compared with DAZ Studio (Thats free as I recall?), but C4D can do so much more for you as a 3D artist!
Thank you very much!
