There is no sense of depth. Try to use some DOF; if the BG had som blur your character would get some more attention. Also, give the body/hair of the falling woman some edge blur on particular places (legs, feets, arms, hair), adding some movement to it; this is an action scene - now its looking too static. Carry on the good work :D

I used for this render DOF, but not extreme - I don't want it to be to *hm, don't know the right word* "dominant". You're right with the motion blur, but at the moment I am not sure how to add it. During the render isn't supported by DAZ Studio, I tried it in postwork (with an older render) but that doesn't looked good.

Thank you very much for your thoughts, love to hear peoples oppinion/what they think could be done better.

You're very welcome. I think you could be making better renders when you switched 3D software.

To be frankly honest, DAZ Studio is made for the amateur market and not suitable to make any convincing quality renders.

If you have the time, take a look at Maxon's Cinema4D and give the free tryout version a go. As far as I can remember (notice; I don't use Poser myself) there must be a 'Poser-to-C4D' plugin available that make it possible to get Poser characters and textures into C4D made easely.

Also; C4D is a professional application with a powerfull (advanced) render engine that will render this kind of illustrations within approx. 2 hours on 72 PPI (perhaps 4-6 hours for a heavy 300 PPI version), so your computer will not be 'on hold' that long... 41 hours is much to long :D

I've loaded the free tryout of C4D yesterday. Will take a closer look at it at the weekend, within the first 10minutes it was "confusing" for me ;)

But when seeing it's price, I am sure this is a piece of software I can't buy in the next time ;)

Confused? Don't be. :D

C4D has a very easy learning curve; don't give up but give it a serious try - you get used to it!
I know the price can be some of a problem if compared with DAZ Studio (Thats free as I recall?), but C4D can do so much more for you as a 3D artist! :D

Wow this is nice. I love the effect in the render. I know setup time took time to setup, but it's worth it. Keep up the excellent work.

Setting up a scene is a kind of recreation for me, so I don't worry if it takes time - I enjoy it, I enjoy the process when a render "grows" until the point I press "render" for the final picture :)

Thank you very much!
